Back to the Hospital

Well, I did want to put up new pictures on Sunday in celebration of Kel's 2 week old mark BUT at about 2:30 am on Sunday morning I ended up with a terrible pain in my abdomen and we all (Babis, Kela, Mom, Dad and I) ended up in the emergency room of Iaso General Hospital. After several hours of tests, an unltrasound and x-rays we found out that I had stones in my galbladder (which was also inflammed). Unfortunately Kela was not allowed in the hospital, so my parents and my mother-in-law watched her until late last night when I finally was able to come home. The other bummer was because of the antibiotics and some of the pain medication I had to temporarily postpone nursing Kela till tomorrow morning. So, here I sit with 4 holes in my stomach (the surgery was laproscopy - or however you call it) and just a handful of stitches causing me just enough pain to be irrated, but not quite enough to keep me from holding our beautiful baby. You could be praying for a full and quick recovery. Sorry, no pictures from the hospital - I looked and felt terrible and baby Kel wasn't there, but I've got others.......

Mommy & Tutu took Kel on her first shoe shopping excursion and showing her 'What NOT To Wear' Greek style

Just cruisin' with Daddy

First beach outing with Tutu & Papa. It was too windy so she's hiding in her biddley buns sling (Thanks Kim!! It's awesome! Still some glitches to work out, but we love it.)

Papa enjoyed a swim at the beach while the rest of us hung out on the 'sand'.

I almost forgot at 10 days old we had a doctor appointment and she had grown 1 1/2 cm and weighed in at just a little over 8 lbs! She had some gunky stuff in her eyes, but nothing the doctor was too worried about.
